I am so happy to have been able to read this sequel pretty soon after reading the first one. I don’t think I could have waited a whole year. The first book – The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter – was absolutely amazing, so I had very high hopes that Europen Travel for the Monstrous Gentlewoman would be the same.

If you’re not aware of what First Impression Friday is, it was created by Joe at JW Martin – Storeys of Stories where, every Friday, he talks about his first impressions of his current read. I actually think that I’m going to do this bi-weekly because, at the moment, I don’t think that I’m going to be reading books that quick due to university.

I also think that – where Joe has said that he will just come back to his FIF post and link his reviews – I’m going to come back to the post, and just write if I was wrong or right. So I have my predicted ratings, and then I’m going to write my actual rating and a couple of sentences on what I actually thought. But I will link my full review as well.
