October 2017 Book Haul

October 2017 Book Haul

Just to forewarn you… There are A LOT of books in this haul. But to make it easier for you (and for me!), I’ve split the haul up into sections. The first part is graphic novels that I have bought, the second section is ‘normal’ books that I have bought, the third section is academic books that I have bought to help me with my university studies and then the final two books on the list are books that I got in book subscription boxes!

Let’s just get on with the haul, shall we?

September 2017 Book Haul

September 2017 Book Haul

Hey, guys and welcome to my September book haul! So many amazing books came out in September such as The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding by Alexandra Bracken, or The Dazzling Heights by Katharine McGee. Unfortunately, I didn’t buy either of them. I couldn’t afford to buy all of the new hardbacks so I got these books instead. This might look like a lot of books, but I actually got some amazing deals on some of them which is always a bonus!

Anyway, let’s get on with my September book haul…

August 2017 Book Haul

August 2017 Book Haul

I haven’t been as good this month as I normally am. I went on a bit of a book spending spree… I mean, there’s loads more that I could have bought. At the time of writing this, it’s the 31st August and Wonder Woman: Warbringer was released today. I saw it in my local Waterstone’s and had to hold myself back from buying it – but I need that book in my life! Maybe if it’s on ‘buy one get one half price’… Hmmm…

Anyway, here is my August book haul!

July 2017 Book Haul

July 2017 Book Haul

Even though I was on holiday for the last week and a half of July, I still managed to acquire quite a few books during the other two and a half weeks; I just couldn’t help myself. I was actually really lucky this month, because WH Smith were having a 3 for 2 sale and it was just the best thing ever! They need to have it more often!

ANYWAY! Let’s just get on with the haul…

June 2017 Book Haul

June 2017 Book Haul

Ok, so yes I went on a hardback buying book haul this month (mainly), but I found them for SUCH good deals! Same for the graphic novels. I almost fell over when I saw the prices of them and I knew that I wouldn’t be able to find them for such a good price anywhere else, so I bought them. Yes, I’m weak. ANNDDD, for the first book collection in this haul, I pre-ordered them, buying one a month, which meant that my spending was spread out over eight months (guessed which collection I’m on about yet?) I did also receive quite a lot of ARCs from publishers this month, but as usual, I don’t include them in my book haul, I only include the books that I bought with my own money.

Anyway, let’s get on with the haul!

May 2017 Book Haul

May 2017 Book Haul

So I know that it looks like I’ve spent a lot of money this month considering that most of these books are hardbacks, but I found so many good deals for them! I work in a charity bookstore and I found around 30-40% of this book haul in there and considering that the books in my shop are £1.50 each, I think it’s safe to say that I got some amazing deals! Then I bought a few from the new and used marketplace on Amazon and then the rest were ‘buy one get one half’ price from Waterstones! So really… I didn’t actually spend that much money. My parents would be proud.

Anyway, let’s get on with the haul!

April 2017 Book Haul

April 2017 Book Haul

As I found out writing my post about the books that I’m excited for in May, I’m going to spend quite a bit of money in that month… And then I started compiling the list of books that I bought in April, and I realised I’ve gone back to my binge-buying-book habit. To be fair though, I got three of these in the charity shop that I work in for £1.50, so that saved me a bit of money!

Anyway, let’s get on with the book haul!

March 2017 Book Haul

March 2017 Book Haul

March was one of those months where there were so many other events going on (Mother’s Day, my best friends birthday, other family birthdays…) that I just couldn’t afford to go out and buy the amount of book that I wanted to buy. So I only ended up purchasing seven, and two of them were from the bookstore that I work at, so I managed to get them quite cheap. I was quite lucky as well in March because most of the books that I wanted to read were sent to me by publishers, so that saved me a ton of money!

Anyway, let’s just right into my March 2017 book haul…

February 2017 Book Haul

February 2017 Book Haul

I should get a medal. Or a gold star. Or a pat on the head. Because I have carried on with my good behaviour and I’ve hardly bought any books this month. I looked around my room and I realised that I was surrounded by books that I have still yet to read and I have enough space for about three more books on my shelf…

Hence the small book haul. But let’s just get on with it! These are the books that I bought in February…

January 2017 Book Haul

January 2017 Book Haul

I am so so proud of myself for not spending a huuuggggeee amount of money this month. I kept telling myself that the only books that I was allowed to buy would be the new January releases; I stuck to this, but of course I couldn’t help but buy a few others as well. Considering the number of books that I have bought in last months, this month, the number feels minuscule!

Here are the books that I bought in January!
