I saw this book in Foyles when I was making my bookshop rounds in London, and I thought it looked like something that I would be interested in. I had been after more Korean literature that I could sink my teeth into, and this collection of short stories that seemed to be about serial killers was right up my alley.
One of the things that I love about the book community is how many different branches there are of it. You have the book bloggers, the book tubers, the bookstagrammers, the designers, the artists… There are so many talented people out there, and I wanted to share a few of them with you.
Today, I’m going to be sharing some of my favourite bookish artists with you. For me, these are the people who create the beautiful character artwork that we see all over bookstagram, and in book boxes.

Welcome back to ANOTHER Fairy Loot unboxing! So, for this month the theme was ‘Greek Mythology’ and when the theme was announced last month, I knew exactly what the book was going to be. For the past few months, Fairy Loot boxes have been arriving a few of weeks later than usual due to the pandemic, hence why the January box is actually being shipped in February.

One of the things that I wanted to do in 2021 was catch up on some of the amazing books that I had on my TBR. Lately, I’ve been reading A LOT of fantasy novels, and I realised that I had been ignoring all of the brilliant contemporary novels that I had just sitting on my shelves.
I had been wanting to read You Should See Me in a Crown ever since it was released, and in January 2021… I FINALLY got around to it!

I’m finally getting back into the ABC Book Challenge. It’s a weekly book meme, but I’ve decided to do one/two a month instead, so things don’t get boring!

Ahhhh, the first book haul of the year. Considering that loads of amazing books came out in January, I’ve done a pretty good job only buying 3, and 2 of those were pre-orders! *gives myself a pat on the back*
I’m not gonna lie, if I wasn’t in lockdown and I was working, then the books hauls would definitely be bigger, but I just can’t afford it right now. But, it also gives me a chance to read all of the un-read books that I already have.

I can’t believe that January is already over… It genuinely only seemed like yesterday when I was writing my December Wrap Up post, and I was just marvelling over how many blog posts I had written that month. I wrote a blog post every. single. day (apart from Christmas Day) in December and I am so proud of myself considering how little I had blogged during the rest of the year.
