Top 10 Tuesday: Characters I Would Love to Work With | 02/03/21
Yes, I’m here again with another Top 10 Tuesday post. I’m trying to get back into taking part in the weekly challenge as I love how it brings the book blogging community together!
So, the original topic for this week was characters whose job I would enjoy… But in most of the books that I read, the characters are assassins and warriors. I mean, not that I’m complaining, I reckon I would kick some ass, but I knew that the topic would prove to be impossible, so I CHANGED IT! So, for me, this weeks topic is ‘Characters I Would Love to Work With‘.
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish list prompt originally hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
The topic for this week is:
Characters Whose Job I Would Enjoy (as you can see, I slightly changed the topic!)
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
The Eye-Candy Group
Look, EVERY job is easier with a bit of eye-candy around, and who better to work with than Nikolai from King of Scars, Malcom and Seong-Jae from Criminal Intentions, and Thomas Cresswell and Mephistopheles from Escaping from Houdini?
The Badass Female Group
I always like to surround myself with badass women who can hold their own. Alessandra from The Shadows Between Us, Bitterblue from The Graceling Realms, Bree from Legendborn, and Lila from A Darker Shades of Magic definitely fit that criteria. CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE THE BANTER?!!!!
The Conversation Group
I also like to surround myself with people who can educate me (hence Senku from Dr. Stone), and just people that I get along with really well. I know that if I worked with Mina from Mina and the Undead, and Rukhsana from The Love & Lies of Rukhsana Ali, that I would have so many laughs, I would have people to talk to about all of the things that we have in common.
With these three groups of characters, yeah sure if all of them were put together in one room, there would definitely be fights… But in the perfect little world of my imagination, we’re all on different shifts so it doesn’t matter. 😂
Future Top 10 Tuesday Topics:

I love to work with all of the characters in your Conversation Group! They’d be so interesting to talk to.
