Yes, I’m here again with another Top 10 Tuesday post. I’m trying to get back into taking part in the weekly challenge as I love how it brings the book blogging community together!

This week’s theme is talking about the books that we’re all excited for that are coming out January to June. There’s absolutely loads and having to choose 10 out of a MASSIVE LIST was just so hard. I’ve already uploaded a post outlining all of the 2021 releases that I’m excited for AND all of the January releases I’m excited for if you want to check those out! 🙌🏼

 Most Anticipated Releases for the First Half of 2021

First off, we have 3 books that are coming out in January. The Mask Falling by Samantha Shannon is a book that I’ve already read, and I’ve pre-ordered from Waterstones. I loved this book so much, and it was good to be back in the Bone Season world with some of my favourite characters. Next, we have Concrete Rose by Angie Thomas. This is a prequel to The Hate U Give and follows Maverick Carter, which is a point of view I’m very intrigued by! I’ve spoken about Winterkeep so much on my blog lately! It’s the fourth book in the Graceling series, and I was luckily enough to be sent an ARC, so that will be a book that I will definitely be reading in the next few days!

 

 

I received The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna in a Fairy Loot box quite a few months ago, and I still need to read it! However, I have added it onto my January TBR so I’m hoping that I can get round to reading it before it comes out in February. Wings of Ebony is the first book in a new fantasy series by J. Elle, and I know that it’s a book that is on most (if not all) book bloggers/tubers anticipated list! This book sounds absolutely amazing, and I don’t think I can wait until March to read it! 😂 And, of course, Rule of Wolves by Leigh Bardugo would be on this list! I’m currently reading King of Scars and I’m enjoying it so much! At least I’ll finally be caught up with the Grishaverse books when this comes out!

 

 

Again, there were SO MANY more books that I could have included in this post, but definitely in this section! In April, my most anticipated read is definitely The Infinity Courts by Akemi Dawn Bowman. This book just sounds so amazing, and even though I actually haven’t read anything by Bowman yet, I’ve heard nothing but brilliant things about her writing. When it comes to Blade of Secrets, this was a no brainer. Tricia Levenseller is an auto-buy author for me. I’ve loved everything that she has written and I can’t wait to read this one! Also in May is when Joan He releases her second novel, The Ones We’re Meant to Find: a book about science, and sisters. And finally, we have Blood Like Magic by Liselle Sambury which is out in June which is full of witches, murder, and has a Canada and Trinidad cultural background!
