Fairy Loot Unboxing | April 2020
Welcome back to ANOTHER Fairy Loot unboxing! So, for this month the theme was ‘Memories’ and when the theme was announced last month, I knew exactly what the book was. Due to everything that’s going on in the world right now, the Fairy Loot subscription boxes were delayed in shipping which is completely understandable – hence why the unboxing post is actually being posted in May!
Let’s get on with the unboxing…
Another Fairy Loot box means another month of gorgeous artwork which is designed by Taratjah! The artwork for this month is absolutely amazing and sums up the book and theme perfectly. On the back of this card is all of the information about each item, but I never look at this as it contains spoilers as to what is in the box, and I WANT TO BE SURPRISED!
I know these tabs are really cheesy, but I actually really like them! At least it means that I won’t forget which colour tab means what. These were bought to us by Fairy Loot.
This gorgeous enamel pin is inspired by the pensieve/memory vial from Harry Potter, and it was designed by @thatslovelydearshop.

I think I have about three pin banners and only one of them is full. I just have nowhere to put them which is quite sad. But this one is so beautiful, and was designed by Dust and Pages and is inspired by The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh.
HOW GORGEOUS IS THIS TOTE BAG?!!! I actually haven’t read any of the ACOTAR books, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate how amazing this bag is.

The next item that I saw was this washi tape inspired by Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor and was designed by Till and Dill. If you would have given me this a year ago, I would have used it so much because bullet journalling was basically life. But since I don’t bullet journal anymore then at least I won’t be using the entirety of the tape in one go!
And of course, the next item was the one that Fairy Loot had told us was going to be included in this months box. It’s volume 3 of the secret boxes designed by Noverantale!
As usual, Fairy Loot included two collectible tarot cards in their box and these were designed by @Gabriella.bujdoso and was inspired by the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
Aaaaannnnddddd…. The book of the month is Incendiary by Zoraida Córdova. I’ve been wanting to read this book ever since I heard about it AGGESS ago, and I’m so excited that I finally have it.
This months book includes red sprayed edges, artwork on the dust jacket by Taratjah, and is also signed by the author! This edition also has an exclusive cover. The original cover is red, and the Fairy Loot cover is black!

As always, Fairy Loot included the Fairyscoop newsletter which includes an interview with the author and also the information for next months box (which sounds A-MAZ-ING!), and then they also include a bookmark that has the artwork of the month printed on the front and then ‘Fairy Loot / April 2020 / ‘Memories’ printed on the back!
Thank you to Fairy Loot for another month of bookish goodness. I can’t wait for next months box which is themed ‘Desert Dreams’. After reading the description of the book, I know exactly what the boo is, and I AM SUPER EXCITED!
Fairy Loot have stated that the April book will have an exclusive cover, sprayed edges, artwork on the reverse dust jacket, and will also be signed by the author. So, we are going to get spoiled with the May box.!
The June theme has also been released and it’s ‘A Different Kind of Magic.’ The chosen book includes shaman magic and sisterhood and will have an exclusive cover, sprayed edges, artwork on the reverse dust jacket and will be signed by the author. BUT! THERE ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO BE TWO BOOKS! The second book is an exclusive paperback edition of a Spring 2021 release and will have an exclusive foil cover and sprayed edges.
