YALC 2018 TBR
This is the first year that I’m going to be going to YALC and I AM SO EXCITED! I’m going with so many amazing people as well that I have met from Twitter and who I have met up with before. It is an expensive weekend, to be honest. It was £50 for the ticket and then I had to book a hotel for the three nights, and then obviously there are going to be stalls where I’ll want to buy things, so it’s going to get very expensive. BUT! It only happens once a year, so I don’t mind. Anyway, here is the full overview of what I’m looking forward to, and my reading plans.
Holly Bourne. I’ve Met Holly Bourne before at Waterstones and I wrote her a letter about how much her books have helped me with my mental health. She is such a lovely, hilarious, strong woman, and I CAN’T WAIT to meet her again at YALC. Bourne has written: Am I Normal Yet? Trilogy, Soulmates, It Only Happens in the Movies…
Sara Holland. This will be the first time that I am ever meeting Sara Holland… So I think I should probably read Everless.

Reviews:

It Only Happens in the Movies by Holly Bourne
Beautiful Broken Things by Sara Barnard
A Quiet Kind of Thunder by Sara Barnard
The Next Together by Lauren James
Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton
Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton
Looks like I’ve got A LOT of reading to do… I know that I won’t read all of the ones that I want to, because I genuinely cannot read that fast and I’m in a bit of a reading slump at the moment, which is absolutely awful… But I’m going to try my best to get to as many of these books as possible so that I can meet the authors, gush about their books and get them signed. Obviously, I would love to be able to have read EVERY.SINGLE.BOOK of the authors that I’m excited to see, but I know that it’s just not realistic.
For anyone else who is going to YALC, here is the schedule that YALC have posted online: http://www.londonfilmandcomiccon.com/index.php/zones/yalc/yalc-schedule
&& if anyone is going to YALC this year, let me know in the comments so I can see who my fellow people are!

I’ve read The Loneliest Girl in the Universe and it was really good!! I definitely recommend it, but I do wish it could have been a bit longer.
I do love Lauren James’ writing. It’s so good. I can’t wait to read The Loneliest Girl in the Universe. I’ve heard mixed reviews about it but oh well, I’m still exited!
I thought it was great and could have been longer! I hope you end up liking it too!
I’ve just read The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura Steven who will be there on Saturday too, it was a brilliant book I really recommend!
I’m at YALC on Saturday, say hi if you see me! 🙂
