Fairy Loot Unboxing June 2017
Another month means another amazing box from the Fairy Loot team! Even though last months wasn’t really my favourite box that I’ve received, it was still pretty good and I know how much time and effort goes into making these subscription boxes. Therefore, I’m grateful for whatever Fairy Loot decide to put in their boxes. Anyway, that being said, let’s just get on with this month unboxing.
The theme was ‘Elementalists’…
This month’s artwork is absolutely gorgeous! I’m in love with it but obviously, on the other side of the artwork card is all of the spoilers for this month’s box, and I never look at that because I want it to be a surprise.
The first item that I saw was this Firestorm candle that was made by Witchwood Remedies. I think the decoration of the label and the candle itself is absolutely gorgeous but the smell of the candle isn’t for me, unfortunately.

The next item that grabbed my attention was this block of Clairvoyance soap which was made by Ascent Body and Bath. I haven’t unwrapped it yet, but I can smell it whilst it’s still in the packaging and it smells uh-maz-ing!
RRP: £3.50

How cute are these potion sticky notes?! I’ve already used a few of them for my bullet journal and I love them! These were made exclusively for the box by Fairy Loot.
In The Moment created this beautiful Hamsa Hand bracelet exclusively for this Fairy Loot box and it’s gorgeous! Unfortunately, when I got mine, it had broken (one of the links had broken from the rest of the bracelet) but it’s ok! I’m going to get it fixed at my nearest jewellery repair shop so I can wear this beauty every day.
RRP: £4.49 – £7.99
This Water Bender lip balm is inspired by the Avatar: the Last Airbender and was made by Geeky Clean. This product is just the best thing ever. It goes onto your lips so smoothly and it has a tingly sensation when you put it on. It also smells like mint which is fab because mint is one of my favourite smells.
RRP: £3.00
This postcard is based on the Frostblood book and it says “In a world of ice, she will burn”.
The next item that I saw was this exclusive sampler of The Waking Land by Callie Bates. I haven’t read it yet, but it looks really good and I have heard some wonderous things about this book!
A bookworm can never have enough pillows, can they? This is my favourite item from this month’s box and I am resting my head against it as I type this blog post up. It’s an 18×18 pillowcase so it’s a perfect size! I just get the actual pillow from Ikea and they only cost about £3 so that’s not bad at all! This pillow was designed by Miss Phi. It says “Books are a uniquely portable magic” and it’s a quote from Stephen King.
RRP: £20.00
AND FINALLY! THE BOOK! This month’s book was Roar by Cora Carmack. There has been so much buzz surrounding this book and I had never actually heard of it until a couple of months ago. The cover is stunning and I can’t wait to dive into it. Along with the book came a signed bookplate and a letter from the author.
Like the past few months, Fairy Loot also included an exclusive bookmark that is specifically for this month. I am so glad that they started doing this and it’s just yet another keepsake that I can use.
So there we have it, guys! That was this month’s box. Overall, I think this months box was really good, it’s just a shame that I don’t like the smell of the candle and that I don’t really use block soap… But they are still two beautiful items that I know loads of hard work went into making them and I fully appreciate that I own them. Even though I don’t normally use block soap, I will definitely be using this one just because it smells so good!
Thank you to Fairy Loot for another month of bookish goodness. I can’t wait for next months box which is themed Tricksters and I am 100% sure that I know what the book is for next month, and let me tell you, IT’S GOING TO BE AMAZING! Don’t forget to check out the Fairy Loot website to see pictures and details of their past book boxes and to also see their price plans for subscriptions. You can find my unboxings for the past four months on my unboxings page…
Believe me guys, you do not want to miss out!
