What’s On My January TBR Cart? | 2021
Since I’ve bought a TBR cart – you know the one: the black one from IKEA that’s featured on every Instagram post 😂 – I’ve been putting the books that I want to read the most on there. My TBR pile is around 200 books, so obviously I can’t put every single one on there, hence me just putting on the ones I want to read as soon as I can.
I thought that I would make this a monthly thing. It’s a TBR post, to be honest. But, I thought I would make it more personal to me since I have a cart. Some of the books could stay the same over the months, some of the books could change, depending on how many I read, but I guess we can try it out and if this post works, well… GOOD FOR ME 😂
The TBR cart has 3 levels, and I’ve split mine up into sections. The top level is for hardbacks of just big books in general, the second level is paperbacks, and then the bottom level is non-fiction that I want to read.
I very rarely read non-fiction but I’ve got a lot of psychology books that I want to read so that’s why I’ve put them on the cart. Hopefully, seeing them there will encourage me to read them.
Now that I’ve done a VERY VERY long introduction 😴 about this new series, let’s just get on with it, shall we? Here are the books I want to try and get around to in January 😌.
Now, I get that there’s a lot on this list. It bloody scares the hell out of me. Like, how in the world am I going to read 23 books in January? THERE’S NO WAY that’s going to happen, even if 6 of them are graphic novels/manga.
I do have some non-fiction that I want to get around to at some point as well, but I doubt that’s going to happen. But I may as well include them in the list anyway considering they’re on my cart, and you never know, I might time to read at least one of them 😅.
As I said, I know that there is NO WAY IN HELL that I’m going to be able to read all of these. I barely managed to read 50 books this year, so 30-odd books in January is laughable. I guess we’ll just have to wait until my January wrap up post and February TBR to see how much this has really changed 😂.
