I am so so proud of myself for not spending a huuuggggeee amount of money this month. I kept telling myself that the only books that I was allowed to buy would be the new January releases; I stuck to this, but of course I couldn’t help but buy a few others as well. Considering the number of books that I have bought in last months, this month, the number feels minuscule!

Here are the books that I bought in January!

Room by Emma Donoghue

The Bone Sparrow by Zana Fraillon

Monstress (Awakening) by Marjorie Liu and Sana Takeda (Vol. #1)

A Quiet Kind of Thunder by Sara Barnard

I am genuinely so happy that I managed to keep the spending down for this month! I’ve had to buy loads of expensive textbooks for university (one was £36) so university books are currently bankrupting me.
